This year's last "coastal" regatta, called BORIN COASTAL, took place in Trieste last weekend. We performed here for the first time in C4x (Girotto, Ukropina, Simone and I, with the help of local coxswain Ana Rosso) and won 3rd place. Thanks to the organizers from Società Ginnastica Triestina and friends from C.C. Saturnia! We'll be back!
It's an honour for our club to participate in Erasmus+ Sports project SheRows
Thanks to our wonderful hosts from Limassol Nautical Club, we spent a nice and fruitful weekend in their headquarters.
Today's final in CM2X went well, finishing 12th overall at the European Coastal Rowing Championships and beating some excellent crews! This combination of youth and experience can only get better!
What a beautiful day at the first European Coastal Rowing Championship! Real summer weather (28 C), chosen A final in a strong duo competition and the pleasure of staying in this beautiful city.
Izola, the International sprint regatta in coastal rowing... Great organization by the host VK Argo Izola led by the president, Olympian Erik Tula. Thanks Erik, Anže and comp. on everything! Very good results, silver in 2x (with Mihael Girotta) and bronze in 4x.
Few more photos from last weekend's coastal beach sprint regatta in singles and doubles on Baltic Sea, organized by UKS Szostka - Gdansk, as part of ERASMUS + SPORTS project "Coastal Rowing - Bringing All Generations Together". Polish rowing is moving fast in participation and promotion of this new Olympic event!
Few more photos from last weekend's coastal beach sprint regatta in single sculls organized by Limassol Nautical Club, in front of their boathouse, as part of ERASMUS + SPORTS project "Coastal Rowing - Bringing All Generations Together". We all enjoyed watching the kids from Limassol race in this new rowing event, soon to become the full Olympic event ( at LA 2028 Olympic Games). Members of our 4 project partner clubs also competed, with Piero Sfiligoi from C.C. Saturnia having the fastest time of all.
