Our club was established at ZSO 6 ( Secondary School No.6) Gdańsk in a perfect and beautiful location for water sports.
Although the club deals mostly with initial training with the beginners in rowing school, working with young rowers in cooperation with the school resulted in youth success in rowing at domestic and international level. When our rowers finish rowing in their junior-age category, they continue training at the AZS AWFiS Gdańsk club, where many of them achieve further successes and become representatives of the Polish National Team for championship regattas. Along with classic/Olympic style rowing, the club aims at starting the coastal rowing programme for the young rowers in a special coastal boats in the Gulf of Gdansk, with the aim of participating at the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal in 2022, where coastal rowing will be part of the official Olympic rowing program for the first time in history. Recently, the club membership has been steadily around 40 junior athletes/rowers.
